SYNOPSIS:
Don Tillman, professor of genetics, has never been on a second date. Thoughts on The Rosie Project:
- Absolutely loved this book! If you love Sherlock Holmes (Hello, Benedict Cumberbatch) & Big Bang Theory, then you’re gonna love this story. All three characters (Sherlock, Sheldon & Don) share/s the same element/s: they are men of science…wired differently…socially inept.
- Loved the intelligent humour used by the author.
- Don reminds me so much of Sherlock & Sheldon but I chose to use Benedict’s voice as I read the book! Sorry namen…siempre don ako sa mas hot! Wahehehe!
- DON TILLMAN is a person who values every minute of his time. He lives and breathes on his schedule. Being a man of science, he calculates and analyses everything. He hates small talks, or anything socially related ( I guess) He has this habit of doing intelligent estimates on peoples age and BMI. WTH!
- He practices Standard Meal System (you eat the same meal on a particular day. (E.g.: Lobster for Tuesday, roasted chicken on Wednesday, etc.) and it kinda made sense to me! Is it weird if I agree!?
REALISATION No. 1: When you start to change and alter your schedule to accomodate the other person, that’s a sign that you like the person! Just like when Don’s activity suddenly includes mangatok ng baso to help Rosie with the Father Project.
But then, Rosie didn’t meet his standards for his Wife Project, but later on, he fell in love.
REALISATION No. 2: Hindi ata talaga pinagtatapat ang same characteristics to spice things up sa life. For balance of nature na rin siguro.
REALISATION No. 3: If you really want to know a person, travel with them. You’ll be surprised on how much you’ll know about one’s personality when you travel together.

I’m giving this 5 stars and highly recommend it for your next read! After I closed the book, I can’t help but smile and say out loud “ANG GANDA NITO!” :D
Hmm… I think I wanna pick up the next book, The Rose Effect! I wonder if it’s gonna make me laugh like this one.
