This was long overdue, but I just had to share it! Tatt no. 3 and 4 were made last June 30th!
When I messaged their studio, our chat was brief & everything was straightforward. I sent the design and picked the time & the only thing that I gotta do is prepare for the schedule.
I believe Alvin Masaganda’s strongest suit is Realism & Blackwork, but he can also do a little bit of everything, especially the traditional style. But again, I’m not that hardcore so my chosen design is really an easy peasy for him.

For this session, I chose the following:
- Aquarius Zodiac symbol
- French phrase – “Veus êtes vetre seule limite”
Getting inked on the upper thigh is not so bad. The outlining part ‘tho… it hurts! the shading part is waaaaay better! As for the other one, OMG! it was the most painful tatt that I got to date!
To begin with, the font style. I chose a script style so he had to use a think needle. Then, the placement – it was on the right rib cage area towards the back. But despite the pain, I got no regrets!
Translation: “You’re your only limit”
Post-Tattoo Care:
I was advised that the these will be completely healed within 2-3 weeks. Just like on my first tattoo, I didn’t workout until it fully healed.
- Scabs are more visible on the design with shading but they should be left alone. It should peel off by itself and when it got itchy, I just applied a light moisturiser on the skin.
- No sun exposure or tanning beds and
- No sunbathing, swimming, spas, saunas & hot tubs for at least 4 weeks.
