We all fell in love with the amazing Beauty Blender sponge (yes, that pink egg-shaped sponge that helps you achieve the airbrushed look) so when the brand introduced a new product, everyone was excited to try and get hold of it. But since the beauty community had a mixed reaction towards the Blotterazzi, I had to find out myself.

PACKAGING
Once you open the box, you will find a slim, tear-shaped, compact-like case housing the blotter and a sample of the sponge cleanser (from the same brand) in a sachet.
Just like a regular compact, you will find a mirror on one side and 2 flat, pink sponges on the other pan.
How does it work?
The Blotterazzi is supposed to replace and do the job of your blotting paper. It comes in sponge form so you can use, wash and reuse it.
This game-changing washable, reusable alternative to blotting papers in iconic beautyblender® pink allows for precise, cushion blotting. Shaped to fit all contours of the face, blotterazzi™ saves you from unused corners like traditional blotting papers.

Does it really work?
Okay here is my honest opinion on the Blotterazzi:
Yes, they do work. But is it something that gives you that WOWZA kind of reaction? Then my answer is NO. These flat, pink sponges help in removing the excess shine on your face but does not leave a matte finish.
PRICE
The Blotterazzi is sold at 34 SGD (20 USD).
Where to buy:
- Local Sephora stores in Singapore

OVERALL IMPRESSIONS
PROs
- Helps in removing excessive oil/shine on the face.
- Easy to use and clean.
- Very handy and travel-friendly.
- I had no breakouts or any allergic reaction after using it.
- Made in the USA.
CONs
- Price
- For its price and just doing an “okay”/so-so job, it is considered to be PRICEY.
Will I purchase again?
- No.
Will you recommend it?
- If you can find other alternatives in the market, then my answer is no. But I am not really a big fan of blotting papers so I cannot recommend other brands or alternatives.
I never had regrets when I bought my first Beauty Blender sponge in 2013. It may be considered expensive but I still prefer the original because my pink egg sponge is simply the best. I have my sponges for 3 years now and they are still in good condition, but I probably need to buy a new one soon.
Truth is, even if you have the best makeup but if you don’t have good tools to apply them, it cannot deliver the job right. Even if you don’t have the best makeups to use so long as you have good brush/tools, then they will do the work for you.
There goes my quick review for the Blotterazzi and I hope I was able to help you decide whether to get it or not. Thank you for your time and make sure that you hit that SUBSCRIBE button so you won’t miss the upcoming reviews!
