The last batch of my review and swatches for Kylie’s birthday collection will be the 3 regular-sized lippies included in the bundle.

The collection includes:
- Leo Lip Kit
- Liquid Matte Minis (5 shades)
- Crème shadows (Rose Gold & Copper)
- Kyliner Kit
- cosmetic pouch
Because this collection is the hottest thing at the moment, it’s very hard to grab the complete set, but I was lucky enough to get hold of 2 regular-sized liquid matte lipsticks and gloss.
LORD & POPPIN’
LORD is the liquid metallic matte lipstick in the shade of, well, gold. It is intense in pigment and easy to apply on the lips. POPPIN’, on the other hand, is a lip gloss in the shade of gold as well.
I admit that after ordering these I had my reservations because who would wear a gold lip in broad daylight? Then they arrived and after I tried and mixed it with other lip products, I realised that it can work. If you want a metallic effect, you can mix LORD with another liquid matte lipstick.
Poppin’ may look too gold for a gloss but if you apply a lip liner first, it will melt beautifully on the lips. And for a gloss, it stays well even after meals.
LEO Lip Kit
Leo is a deep burgundy shade with a flat matte finish. This vampy colour is my choice for the perfect fall lipstick.
Now, I read and watched few early reviews of this lip kit but when I tested it, there are things that I find different from my experience.
Just like the rest of her lip kits, these are:
- Easy to use and apply.
- It feels light on the lips as if you are not wearing lipstick at all.
- Not sticky.
- No feathering.
- Did not dry or flaky on the lips despite the more than 6 hours of wear before I removed my makeup.
- Easy to remove even though it seems that it can stand oily foods.
- Made in the USA.
However, out of the 7 liquid matte shades that I reviewed, this seems to be less opaque than the rest. I love her lip liners because of the intense pigmentation but this one can be a little patchy if you will not apply it carefully. Same goes with the liquid lipstick so when I apply them, I make sure that I double the coat.

Though there was no bleeding, I noticed the product faded a little from the inner part of the lips and this was taken before meals and this also happened with True Brown K.
If this happens, you can either reapply or dab it with the lip liner.
If you will ask me if it is long wearing? Again, it was not the same as the others that I tested. I wore this and ate a burger and voila!

Pardon the bare face as I tested it on a Sunday, but that was how it looked like after eating.
VERDICT:
Overall, I like these three lip products but I was a bit disappointed with the performance of Leo. If it performed just like the rest of the shades that I tried and tested, then I will give it a higher rating. Anyway, I will still continue using them and enjoy the rest of the product.
PRICE:
- Birthday Bundle is sold at 195 USD
- Individual Leo Lip Kit is sold at 30 USD

And that completes my review for the Kylie Jenner’s birthday collection. Until our next review!
